Server character settings

A difficult but common problem is a wrong character set on the server or on your website. Wrong configuration can lead to strange characters on your screen on in the e-mails that are sent by e-mail form on the website. As well it can happen that special character are stored incorrectly in your MySQL data base or the script can not read the stored data from the data base.
